bj Zine

Collaborative Zine constructed by Sarah Berry & myself.
Looking to externalise ourselves we created this zine which works fundamentally as a portfolio, we are hoping to exhibit in the near future at several fairs.

so mr interviewer, why should you choose me?

I hope that without a silver tongue or sharp dress sense you can see the fire in my eyes. That fire burns from my deep inside, fueled by each time I’ve been pushed down.

That ocean of repressed tears is engulfed in flames that will soon spill out from me, and that small patch of earth it touches will be forever changed.

I will make mistakes, but I am damn sure that every mistake made will not come from being reserved.

I want to fail to know what morality tastes like.

I will spend my life creating the person I want to be, to every day take a part of something I’ve loved, and let it become a part of me.

When I’ve created that person, when I can look up and down in that mirror without insecurities or doubt, and smile, the doors will open and I will step out from this carriage onto the platform, alongside the people of the future, leaving the dead behind.

So Mr interviewer, why should I choose you?
